Rui Couture Representative and Designer Greetings

Thank you for visiting  Rui Couture home page!
I hope that you can find a cloth which touches your heart at Rui Couture!

Rui Couture started with my attire for musical events. When I was looking for clothes to wear to my hobbies, the opera and concerts, there were no sizes that fit me, the colors and patterns didn't suit me, the quality of the fabric was mediocre, but the prices were high. Feeling unsure about what to wear, I thought, 'If there isn't what I want, I'll make it myself!' So, I embarked on a journey of self-learning, from pattern-making to sewing, and started wearing my own creations to outings. That's how Rui got her start.

Although I have a deep affection for fabrics from Europe, which I've cherished for many years, I am also strongly drawn to the beauty of Japanese kimono fabrics. I am currently striving to find a way to incorporate them into Western-style clothing. I aim to create clothing using fabrics from both Japan and Europe.

My life hasn't been particularly well planned, but living freely and honestly is my style. I aspire to craft garments that illuminate the beauty of women seeking a kindred lifestyle.
